not so tiny verdigris moon

A little larger than the tiny sister moon, now available in a natural verdigris copper, cut from a lovely aged sheet in that beautiful green color that occurs slowly (shown in the last photo), over much time.

Late in the deep dark night, my brilliant and reliable moon winks at me through the branches of the old black walnut tree. Ever present. Some nights the clouds hide my moon but the very next night it’s right there, steady on, wax or wane. This moon memento is a chubby crescent, hand cut from verdigris copper sheet, the shape refined just so. The graceful shape is simple, but the message is loud and clear… I’ll be here.

This trusty satellite hangs from a tiny moonstone embellished wire and a soldiered ring on a 16″ sterling chain. Each moon sister is slightly different but any member of my galaxy is held to the same standard. Please allow for the variation that makes each hand formed piece unique. The crescent itself is about 3/4″ high.
